The WiST Fellowship Program delivers summer internship experiences for women and nonbinary undergraduate and graduate students eager to begin their careers in the sports tech industry. This program is an integral part of how we propel women into important roles and leadership positions in sports tech. WiST partners with sports tech industry-leading companies to offer 8-10 week summer internships combined with a curated professional development program. We define the sports tech industry broadly and encourage experiences that combine the themes of sports and technology innovation in creative ways. To increase the accessibility of these opportunities, WiST Fellows receive funding and reimbursement for travel expenses directly related to the work experience.

While the benefits created by these resume-building experiences are significant, the relationships developed among the Fellows cohort, Fellow alumni, and the WiST community at large provide an unmatched network and ongoing support for future growth.
